Squabbles, aka Your House or Mine by Marshall Karp is a two act comedy that takes place in the home of Jerry and Alice Sloan in Stamford, Connecticut, close to New York City.  Jerry writes advertising jingles and Alice is a lawyer.  

When the play begins, the young couple have invited Alice's cantankerous former cabbie father, Abe to move in with them.  Soon afterward, Jerry's mother, Mildred is forced to move in with them as well when her house burns down.  

Unfortunately for Jerry and Alice, Abe and Mildred have a relationship based on mutual hate resulting in many “squabbles” between the two in-laws.  

Add into the mix an annoying handyman, a retired neighbour, a new baby and a tyrannical nurse and you have a recipe for plenty of hilarity.
